Lord Jesus, nothing I've done, only What You Have Done.

Please be aware I did find a couple of errors in the word-counting of this 2025 version.
Holding a goal count in mind has only spurred me to be more & more attentive to the Text.
I have done my best to account honestly, and I will yet carry on reviewing & documenting.

Foremost, this project generates the 1611 KJV from a plain-text Transcript, to the intent that
the accuracy of the Transcript may be verified visually, line by line against the original scan:
A script formats it to HTML pages (Times or Blackletter), so lines may be blanked & chroma-keyed;
I blanked odd-numbered lines to then digitally lay even-numbered lines over the scan, & vice-versa.

Second, it preserves (& explains) all editorial changes from 1611 to the Pure Cambridge Ed. (1911).
There's many differences in spelling, grammar, & even wording, but none change the text's meaning.

Third, it demonstrates how to word-count appropriately with respect to 1611 KJV conventions.
The PCE (Present Day KJV) word count of 7^7 (823,543) was proven in May 2024:

I am not a KJV "Onlyist" — in my view, any full Bible translation is better than any Bible commentary.
I think reading a "Present Day" English version is important to get your basic idea of the words.
But if you ever look for the actual, ancient lines of preservation, & their bond into English, the A.V. is it.
I'm interested in whether 16th c. A.V. editions might hermetically educate us as to KJV word usages.
